Tim's I3 todo list
Currently, none of the routers filter unknown packets, and custom (non spec) packets are used a fair bit.
The 'beep' support is a client only thing, the routers do not need to know about this.
The 'admin list' support is a router issue, I believe the *i4 router currently supports this.
As for adding comments to channels, this requires a change to the protocol if this is to be included in the chanlist update packets.
I have some additional extensions implemented on the *wpr router:
The 'destination mud' field in I3 packets can also contain an array of mudnames, where the router will ensure distribution to all those muds. This is to reduce bandwidth use as well as save some cpu on the sender and the router.
Before the packet is routed to its final destination, the array will be replaced by a string with the name of the specific target.
*wpr filters ucache broadcasts and only delivers them to muds supporting the feature.
Also, *wpr validates all inbound packets for known services. It validates if all data fields are present and of the proper type.
